Job Description

LAMJ’s Delivery Driver is responsible for completing deliveries to customers from Los Angeles County to San Bernardino areas. LAMJ’s Delivery Driver should be regarded as the most welcoming, professional, passionate, and knowledgeable people within the cannabis retail space.

Driver Responsibilities

Loads, transports, and delivers items to clients in a safe, timely manner

Adheres to assigned routes and follows time schedules

Abides by all transportation laws and maintains a safe driving record

Verify product deliveries against manifest/invoice to ensure accuracy

Communicate with (Dispatcher) regarding daily deliveries

Cleanliness of the interior of the vehicle and the notification of service

Secure storage of inventory / ensure inventory is accurate

Verifying proper paperwork, documentation, and ID for customers

Provide excellent customer service as well as maintain a professional, positive, and friendly attitude

Cash handling

Driver Requirements

Must live in Los Angeles County (Required)

Must be 21 years of age or older (Required)

Must have a Valid Drivers License (Required)

Must have 2 years minimum driving experience (Required)

Must have valid CA Auto Liability Insurance (Required)

Vehicle must be less than 15 years old (Required)

Must have current California registration (Required)

Delivery experience (Preferred)

Must be punctual

Must be responsible

Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws

Possess strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills

Must be proactive and solution oriented with a positive attitude

Strong multi-tasker and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Retail service experience is a plus

Driver Disqualifications (Please read before applying)

No driver will be allowed to operate on our behalf if that driver has any one or more of the following citations, violations, accidents or combinations thereof:

No more than two moving violations and one at-fault accident in 3 years.

No major traffic citation or incidents in the past 5 years (Ex):

Vehicular Assault

Hit and Run

Driving While Impaired

Driving with a Suspended or Revoked License

A Felony in which a Vehicle is used (e.g., Vehicular Manslaughter, Vehicular Homicide)

Business hours are (Sunday - Saturday): 9am - 9pm
