The Boeing Company is looking for an Experienced Procurement Agent based out of Puget Sound (Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, Tukwila and Everett), WA, Huntington Beach, CA, St. Louis, MO or North Charleston, SC.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Boeing Research & Technology Supply Chain Team. This position is responsible for purchasing research related goods and services, thereby facilitating Boeing's cutting-edge technology development with suppliers, in support of future Boeing aerospace products. Position Responsibilities:
  • Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.
  • Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions.
  • Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.
  • Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management.
  • Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
  • Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes , lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 3+ years of experience with MRP (Material Requirements Planning)
  • 3+ years of experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions
  • 3+ years of experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes
  • 3+ years of experience using professional written and verbal communication skills to achieve deliverables

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Knowledge of negotiation and contracting processes
  • Knowledge of contract structure, Terms and Conditions
  • Experience in Government Sub-Contracts
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business or other related field, or relevant work or military experience
  • Experience negotiating complex contracts
  • 5+ years of experience managing supplier relationships, strategic partnerships and supplier performance
  • 3+ years of experience creating & leading Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
  • Experience leading teams in a cross-functional environment
  • Experience building positive working relationships

Typical Education/Experience: Typically 6 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Summary pay range: Min: $74,800 - Max: $102,960
