Warehouse/Forklift Operator/Class C Driver

Atech Warehousing & Distribution is an LTL fleet trucking company with applications designed specifically for each of our customer's transportation needs. We have an immediate opening for a Warehouse/Forklift Operator/Class C Driver position at our Eureka, CA terminal.

The candidate selected for this position will be responsible for serving in a hybrid role as both a warehouse worker/forklift operator and a Class C Driver, performing the responsibilities of each role as needed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

On-loading/off-loading freight in a safe manner

Properly packaging and labeling freight

Preparing delivery paperwork accurately

Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Drives truck over established route to dedicated customer

Unloads freight from trailer with pallet jack and hand truck

Practices safe work methods at all times

Performs daily pre and post trip inspections

Ability to complete electronic logs

Adheres to all roadway laws and requirements

Maintains a clean truck at all times

Follows instructions on delivery procedures

Complies with company policies and DOT regulations

Contributes to a work environment that fosters pride in being a part of a winning team

REQUIREMENTS:

Current Class C License (Class A CDL a bonus)

Previous tractor trailer experience in a commercial vehicle required

Prior warehouse experience required (1+ years preferred)

Prior forklift experience required (1+ years preferred)

Prior pallet jack experience preferred

Previous delivery experience a plus

Must be able to follow safety procedures at all times

Must be able to regularly lift and/or move 50+ pounds

Pre-employment drug test and acceptable medical exam

3 year DMV printout

Criminal background clearance

Ability to read, speak and interpret the English language

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Team player with great attitude

Computer experience a plus
