Mad River Community Hospital is seeking a front desk receptionist for the Occupational Health Clinic. The Receptionist performs all clerical functions for the registration and scheduling of out-patients. They assist in the operation of the facility by greeting and registering patients, answering the phone, filing, maintaining order in the reception area, and providing clerical support to the clinic providers.


1. Experience in this type of position or a similar one is preferred, but not required.

2. Good verbal communication skills to receive and give information in person and by phone.

3. Good attention to detail and organization.

4. Emotional maturity and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, and maintain a good working relationship with colleagues and patients.

5. A working knowledge of medical terminology and the insurance billing process is desirable.

6. High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
