POSITION SUMMARY: The Food and Beverage Inventory Analyst is responsible for updating and implementation of Chef Tec software to cost recipes and menus, maintain inventory control of food and beverage. Performs a monthly food inventory in all food outlets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Import invoices, update prices and change ingredients in all recipes using Chef Tec software.

Analyze recipe and menu costs by portion and yield.

Perform monthly inventory of all food items in all food outlets.

Track food cost changes on a weekly basis based on invoices of goods received.

Generate variance reports and draw conclusions based on the results.

Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Demonstrated strong organizational, planning and time management skills

Ability to work independently, to organize and track multiple projects with large amounts of detail.

Other duties may be assigned.

AUTHORITY/SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

None this is a non-supervisory position.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or GED required

Must be 21 years of age

Minimum 6 months of work experience in food and beverage and/or inventory roles preferred

Knowledge of inventory systems including Microsoft Excel recommended.

Experience with database programs preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Valid Serve Safe Food Handlers certificate.

COMPUTER OPERATIONS

Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, database, graphics, etc.
