Psychologist needed for LUCRATIVE Disability Exam/Assessment work

Megalithic Psychology, Inc. (www.MegalithicPsychology.com) is an esteemed vendor for the Disability Determination Services in California. We are hoping to grow our team, and are looking for motivated licensed psychologists (must be fully licensed, and in good standing) for the purpose of performing one-time disability examinations for the State of California. These examinations help our clients obtain mental health related disability benefits through the Social Security Administration if they meet eligibility requirements.

These 45-65-minute exams range from a simple interview to full comprehensive psych testing of both children and adults. Typical testing measures for adults include but are not limited to: MMSE, Trails A/B, WAIS-IV, WMS-IV, and TONI4. Typical measures for children include, but are not limited to: abbreviated-MMSE, WISC-V, WRAT5, CARS2, Vineland3. The ideal candidate will own their own materials, but if you don't have your own materials, we can discuss possibilities, or you can perform solely the interviews, which require zero materials.

This LUCRATIVE, part time, flexible position is an excellent resume and experience builder. This work is ideal for an industrious, efficient, and detail-oriented psychologist. The ideal candidate is an excellent differential diagnostician, with a high tolerance for acute mental health pathology, as our generally low-functioning clientele carries a wide range of acute/chronic DSM5 diagnoses (e.g., intellectual disability, autism spectrum, mood/thought disordered, and neurocognitive disorders).

Hours are flexible, but not guaranteed (you give us a schedule, and we try to fill it—the more you give, the more you get). We are specifically trying to find someone to work in our established office in FRESNO, CA area—and/or other locations. Those who are willing to drive farther tend to make more due to the remote locations being more rewarding. Weekend work is available and sometimes even preferred.

Training/orientation will also be provided if you are new to this niche industryhowever someone who has previous experience (and good standing with DDSD) is preferable. I take on ALL of the logistics, booking/billing, office (if you dont have your own already) and all you do is the assessment and deliver the report.

a. $77.40 per 45-minute simple interview without testing. (Or $103.20/hour)

b. $174 per 60-minute adult testing (most common adult testing fee).

c. $147 per 60-minute child testing (most common child testing fee).

d. $12/occurrence for payable no-show fees.
