Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) FOR

SKILLED NURSING FACILITIES

WEEKEND AND NOC SHIFTS NEEDED

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities:

Assisting residents with activities of daily living such as dressing, dining, transferring, and bathing

Engage residents with a positive and friendly demeanor, while providing support through social interaction at scheduled and unscheduled recreational activities

Follow HIPPA policies and procedures

Be prepared to respond in an immediate, timely, and appropriate way to unexpected or emergency situations that may arise outside of daily assignments, including emergency response calls from residents

Respond and report changes in the resident’s health status

Complete daily charting requirements, communicate any maintenance problems or hazards

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of California

Must have at least 6 months prior experience in critical care and/or long term care

Compassion for the elderly and commitment to hospitality and service

Ability to remain patient and kind in difficult circumstances, ability to remain calm in emergencies

Ability to maintain confidential and private information

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
