Based in the Fresno, California area, this opening for a Controller is a permanent position. Responsibilities include planning and directing all accounting operational functions, handling the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements, evaluating accounting and internal control systems, and leading departmental staff. Inspect deliverables of self and team to ensure that they meet client expectations

Complete tasks beyond formal job responsibilities

Support Finance Department initiatives, including software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, through research, planning and implementation, as needed

Manage the creation of the annual budget and forecasts and monitor them on a monthly basis

Collaborate with executive team and partners to make efficient and effective firm-wide operation possible

Each month, present executive committee and partners with financial reports

Ensure timely cash collection by driving the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques

Assess, execute and improve policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies

Responsible for month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations & G/L analysis

Produce cash-flow reports, calculating cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, and manage daily cash Requirements General Ledger, Internal Control, KPI Reporting, Financial Reporting, Consolidated Financial Statements, Budgeting - Forecasting, GAAP Accounting, Financial Analysis, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Payroll, Procurement
