Requirements:

TheDirector of Investor Relationsposition requires:

5+ years of experience dealing with investors and a strong proven track record or raising capital, creating positive relations with the investor community and equity research analysis

Experience in Fund and/or REIT capital raise with emphasis and understanding of 506 Regulation D fund exemption with accredited investors

The ability to work in office in Fresno, CA – remote work is not available and relocation packages are available if you live out of the area

Strong understanding of SEC laws and securities disclosure requirements, as well as filing requirements

Deep knowledge & understanding of the capital markets, as well as a thorough understanding of key metrics for companies in the industry

Intimately familiar with financial modeling techniques and valuation methods used by analysts and investors

A strong understanding of macroeconomics, capital markets trends, competitor activities, industry dynamics, and customer trends

Ability to perform in a high-pressure environment and be able to meet tight deadlines and mandatory monthly capital raise metrics

Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance preferred

Responsibilities:

Report directly to the CDP and Principal

Develop the infancy stages of the fund and raise capital in connection with developing investor confidence and believe in the company’s vision and strategy for delivering shareholder value

Develop a robust investor relations strategy and framework

Create & manage a strong reputation by demonstrating consistent and clear communication between internal and external parties

Manage investor relationships

Provide insights on market activity and present them to the leadership team

Analyze & present financial trends, competitor behavior, shareholder issues, and anything else that could impact the business

Responsible for overseeing and managing quarterly earnings, conference calls, and monthly performance newsletter

Work with legal counsel to ensure compliance on regulatory matters

ZINC is a finance company located in Fresno, CA. The entity is comprised of 3 separate divisions: Zinc Financial, Zinc Realty, and Zinc Auto Finance. Zinc Financial specializes in lending for Investor Rehab (“fix” and “flip”) purposes in CA and multiple other states. Zinc Realty specializes in purchasing distressed properties, rehabbing them, and reselling them for a profit. Zinc Auto Finance specializes in indirect lending in the auto sector for franchised and independent used car dealers.

Zinc has been in business for 15+ years, but just recently launched its first “Mortgage Fund” for capital raise in connection with its lending activities. Zinc has approximately 35+ employees.
