The Opportunity:
Clean Harbors is looking for a Prevailing Wage Program Manager to join our Safety Conscience team. The Prevailing Wage Program Manager provides support to sales and operations for bidding prevailing wage contracts and will be the subject matter expert for the West Region. Works as the liaison between DIR, Operations and Payroll to ensure employees are correctly slotted and adjusts prevailing wage ranges as required. - Program Manager provides support to sales and operations for bidding prevailing wage contracts and will be the subject matter expert for the West Region.
- Works as liaison between DIR, Operations and Payroll to ensure employees are correctly slotted and adjusts prevailing wage ranges as required.
- Will provide update to Sales/Operations when there are changes in the Wage Determination.
- Works with the payroll department to process prevailing wage payroll data, maintains and process certified payroll; ensures the apprenticeship invoices are calculated and processed in accordance with prevailing wage determination.
- Provides management team with update of reports, as needed and any issues that are outstanding.
- Daily supervision of administrative support, assignment of work, review of accuracy prior to submittal to operations and payroll by deadline requirements. Performs special projects/tasks as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 3+ years' experience with prevailing wage contracts and application of wage determination
- Knowledge of Prevailing Wage Contracts and application of wage determination
- Position will require <10% travel
