Consumer Lending serves customers across the country through our distribution network of more than 5,300 retail banking branches and Home Lending offices as well as online and digital channels.Wells Fargo's Merchant Services organization is nationally recognized for its ingenuity and reputation as a leader in the electronic payments industry. We are searching for a senior Marketing Program Manager (Marketing Program Manager 3).Reporting to the incoming Merchant Services Product Marketing & Engagement Initiatives leader, this position will drive development and delivery of effective product value propositions and positioning, as well as customer-facing product materials and collateral. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in delivering and continually refining value propositions in the financial services and/or payments industry, preferably targeting a business segment (from small business to corporate).Key areas of work include:Developing and delivering effective value propositions at both the Merchant Services category level and product-specific levels in collaboration with Small Business Segment, Wholesale/Treasury Management, and Enterprise Marketing

Understanding and analyzing market trends and the competitive landscape, and translating into strategic direction and programs

Creating compelling customer-facing product materials

Providing thought leadership for strategic approaches for earned/paid media opportunities as well as Wells Fargo's own channels

Partnering with related lines of businesses to share practices, develop & deliver successful integrated programs, and deliver consistent customer experiences, where applicable

Preferred locations are in Wells Fargo hubs including Charlotte, Concord, Minneapolis, Phoenix, and San Francisco. The position includes a 5-10% travel requirement in a typical (non-Covid) environment.Required Qualifications7+ years of marketing experience

Other Desired QualificationsStrong experience in the payments industry and/or in marketing to business segments, including understanding of key drivers

3+ years experience in designing, delivering, and continually refining product value propositions and positioning, including conducting competitive analyses and managing primary research

5+ years of proven successful track record in product marketing strategy, program development and execution

Expertise leading complex initiatives from concept development through implementation, including hands-on management to deliver under deadlines

Ability to mobilize resources and cross-functional teams while operating as an individual contributor

Proven success initiating and guiding data analyses in order to identify opportunities or understand issues, and develop insights and innovative recommendations

Strength in analyzing complex issues and solving problems despite ambiguity and without defined process

Facility in influencing peers, partners, and senior leaders to gain buy-in for new ideas or initiatives

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills including well-honed presentation skills

Results-oriented focus and an industrious self-starter

Comfort in a collaborative, matrixed environment

Adaptability in a very dynamic environment

Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills

Job ExpectationsAbility to travel up to 10% of the time
