The Boeing Company is seeking an Enterprise Associate Software Engineering Technical Specialist to join our team in Mesa, AZ, Hazelwood, MO, Long Beach, CA, Plano, TX, or El Segundo, CA. In this role, you will perform various software engineering and technical activities to support business needs of the organization and the Enterprise. This is a highly visible, multi-year strategic effort that impacts all areas of the enterprise.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Support the coordination and execution of agile software development activities to support product and capability initiatives within ESPC Frameworks organization
  • Coordinate trainings and assistance in the utilization of processes and tools and support the integration of software engineering design
  • Provide software configuration management, coordinates change, perform assessments of compliance and manage the implementation of product standards across company business units and programs
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute software engineering documents, reports, and correspondence to enable business activities
  • Collect, analyze, and validate engineering performance metrics, and coordinate organizational requirements to support business needs
  • Provides ad-hoc assistance to engineering teams and leadership to accomplish business priorities
  • Build and maintain vital business relationships between engineering teams, business units, programs, IT, suppliers, and customers.
  • Work under general direction

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 2+ years of experience working on engineering development programs
  • 2+ years of experience with processes analysis, processes development, and process improvement
  • 2+ years of experience collecting, analyzing and validating performance visibility and metrics

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, accuracy with work, strong organizational skills
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders with a customer service focus and mindset
  • Demonstrated a strong work ethic and sense of urgency for completing assigned work with minimal supervision and history of meeting commitments
  • Strong Project Management Skills
  • Experience with Engineering and Software life cycle activities, tools and processes
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Agile knowledge
  • Build master experience

Typical Education/Experience:

A degree in related discipline and typically 1 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Relocation:
