Chico distributor seeks 6 ambitious Order Selectors for immediate job openings!

Position overview:

The Order Selector is responsible for accurately and productively selecting product from specified warehouse locations to fulfill customer orders

Shift info: Monday thru Friday

12 pm to 8:30am

DUTIES:

Assemble pallets

Accurately label products

Heavy use of pallet jacks and other material handling equipment

Maintain clean floors and aisles to ensure safety and productivity

Maintain accurate daily reporting requirements

Follow Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS:

Accuracy/Attention to detail

Strong communication skills

Prior pallet jack training preferred

Warehouse experience preferred

High school or GED preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Constant standing and/or walking, bending, twisting

Frequent lifting of 1-50 lbs. and turn body, occasionally up to 100 lbs.

Frequent bending, squatting, pushing and pulling, reaching, up to 72”

Visual and hearing abilities required to perform essential job functions

Constant climbing/stepping on and off pallet jacks and/or forklifts

Must exhibit a required level of endurance, energy and strength to successfully perform position

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to extreme cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
