Prep cook wanted

We at Bacio are a well-established, highly regarded catering company serving the greater Chico area for the last 36 years. Our commitment to our brand and customer experience is at the forefront of all we do. With that said, we are looking for a qualified, professionally minded cook. We are searching for those unique individuals that recognize the benefit of a respectful, creative work place and desires PART TIME employment, with the possibility and opportunity for more hours in the future. Our kitchen is spacious, immaculately clean (yes, cleaning is part of the job) and a pleasant place to work with a friendly team of co-workers.

Applicants MUST have some prior experience in a professional kitchen environment, be familiar with commercial equipment with knowledge of safety procedures, measurements, culinary terminology and sanitation practices.

We have several different avenues of service, so this position requires lots of multi-tasking and thinking on your feet. The right candidate has competent knife skills, a perfect attendance record and a strong work ethic. Must be willing to get dirty and clean up, take great pride in our kitchen by assisting in maintaining our perfect health department records. This job requires some lifting and applicants must be able to safely lift 50 lbs.
