Please note that this is a 1 year contract position. 1st Shift: Hours 7:00am to 3:30pm.2nd shift: Hours 3pm to 11:30pmPrimary Purpose, Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:Responsibilities include reagent handling. Dispense chemical and biological reagents using automated / semi-automated equipment, peristaltic pumps, pipettes and graduated cylinders. Imprint label stock and apply labels, assemble and process product. Package products in boxes for shipment to customers. Maintain and update manufacturing Device History Records. Perform in-process inspections of labels, labeling and assemblies. Assist in inventory control activities. Maintain clean and organized manufacturing area. Support other company functions as assigned.Education High School Diploma or equivalentSome higher education or specialized training/certification preferred1-3 years relevant experience preferred in regulated manufacturing environmentRequires basic Math, Interpersonal Skills, Typing, Communication Skills, Technical Writing/Editing Skills, Reagent Preparation, Labeling & Bottling Techniques, Quality Control. Can respond to requests for information in a timely manner, and consistently meet goals and deadlines. Skilled in managing workload, prioritizing tasks, and developing effective work procedures.Ability to learn, operate, troubleshoot and maintain general production equipment such as: mixing equipment, automated and semi-automated filling, label application, and packaging equipment. Balances, pH meter, pipettes (manual & automatic), fume hood, autoclave, centrifuge, respirator, thermal transfer label imprinters, and/or other general production equipment that may be used.Follow specific/detailed instructions.Requires the ability to follow specific/detailed instructions.Requires the ability to work well under pressure and/or handle stressful situations, interruptions, or last minute requests.
