We are looking for a highly motivated Research Associate to complement our team in the Research and Development (R&D) organization. You will provide technical support to develop accurate, robust and precise assays. Your challenge will be to create value for Agilent through innovative ideas that either create new business or expand existing partnerships. You will work in a cross-functional team dedicated to the design and development of CDx assays in a highly regulated environment and perform the following activities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing design and technical support to develop immunohistochemistry assays and in situ hybridization assays
  • Leading or assisting with technical design assignments within feasibility projects, development projects and technology development project in the CDx division
  • Carrying out experiments including planning, preparation, execution, quantitative data analysis and reporting
  • Transcribing and verifying data, writing scientific protocols and reports
  • Organizing and storing materials and stained slides
  • Understanding and implementing our quality management system framework. Quality is our passion.
