Senior Data Analyst

A technology services client of ours is looking for Senior Data Analyst on their ongoing projects.

• Experience with investment management data required, and an ability to understand and interpret investment concepts, and Specifically within risk analysis and portfolio performance analysis considered an asset
• Programming experience in with one or more of the following: SQL, Excel/VBA, Python
• Experience in analyzing, manipulating, transforming, and interpreting large and complex datasets, structured and unstructured data in a variety of formats such as XML, JSON
• Experience working with investment management application teams for data requirements to support downstream data integrations
• Experience and understanding of data linkages, data lineage, data modeling, data interface contracts considered an asset
• Experience working with AWS, Microsoft Azure or GCP considered an asset.
• Experience with market data vendors (Bloomberg, CapIQ, RIMES) would be an asset.
• Understanding and familiarity of data used in the investment process: valuations, performance, exposures, risk, fundamentals, estimates, industry KPIs, economic indicators would be an asset
• Strong communication skills with ability to work individually as well as in a team environment.
