Overview:Perform a variety of manual and automated testing activities to include:

Application programming interface (API) level testing, system testing, black box functional testing, UI testing, and white box testing. Design test strategies, develop test tools and implement manual and automated test cases to ensure highest quality deliverables for maintenance and new feature releases. Identify tools and processes to increase overall efficiency and productivity. Manage the QA process from review requirements, defect management to risk analysis and production support.

Responsibilities:
  • Interact with business units, development, operations, project management to ensure proper test coverage and level of testing is established
  • Own the formal and informal communication of testing progress, impact, and risk to stakeholders
  • Develop test strategies, test plans and test scripts
  • Review requirements, specifications, and other project documentation to assure quality of the products and automated tests to be developed
  • Provide leadership with the design, development, implementation and maintenance of automated infrastructure (scripts, functions, programs, and processes) to increase the efficiency of testing processes
  • Create and update test automation standards, policies, and procedures; write and execute detailed test cases, test plans and test design documents
  • Facilitate and prioritize resolution of defects, and track through retest to closure
  • Collaborate with peers in QA and Development to share information and resolve issues
  • Define, establish, communicate, and manage QA programs for various projects
  • Define and track quality assurance KPIs and metrics
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting a full product release cycle, including support of deployments to production
  • Strong experience with test and defect management
  • Demonstrated experience working in agile development environments
  • Proficiency with automation frameworks and automation tools

  • Ability to create and update test automation standards, policies, test scripts
  • Advanced analytical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communications skills (listening as well as speaking)
  • Familiarity with requirements management, test management, and defect tracking tools
