- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Understanding FDA regulations and ISO standards applicable to department operations and consequences of nonconformance
- Follow applicable manufacturing OSHA safety regulations
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the facility’s equipment.
- Perform and document service repairs following manuals and standardized procedures
- Monitor and maintain all preventative & non-routine maintains of equipment
- Examination of malfunctioning equipment to determine the appropriate service; including but not limited to: disassembly of equipment, defective parts inspection, and testing of electrical and mechanical components.
- Generate service estimates, providing a detailed list of required parts and labor hours
- Interface with other manufacturing personnel and engineering
- Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines.
- Utilize a variety of tools such as screwdrivers, hand drills, pliers, and special fixtures
- Assists in the ordering of parts and supplies necessary for the servicing of equipment
- Reconcile and maintain accurate parts inventory
- Monitor that equipment and facilities are kept suitable for their intended use: where necessary, communicating needs for maintenance, repair, etc. to the Production Manager
- Assist other areas of the manufacturing operations on an as-needed basis
- Represent the company professionally, honestly, and ethically in all respects

- Technical training and/or at least 5 years of hands-on experience servicing equipment
- Previous cGMP and/or ISO experience preferred
- Ability to read, interpret and follow diagrams, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment
- Ability to use measuring instruments such as caliper and scale
- Proficient in the use of small hand tools (pliers, screwdrivers, nut drivers)
- Hand to eye coordination, agility, and dexterity is required
- Basic computer skills (i.e. cut and paste)
- Good organization skills and attention to detail
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Utilization of lean manufacturing techniques preferred
