Location: Fort Smith, AR Description: Our client is currently seeking a SAP Master Data Analyst!

This is a full -time salaried opportunity requiring of onsite work capability in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

The Master Data Coordinator reports to the SAP Director and will be responsible for collecting, sorting, profiling, manipulating, and maintaining various sets of master data

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in a data related discipline SAP experience required
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and procedures employed in the maintenance of master data Strong ability to document detailed processes and procedures
  • Analytical Skills - Ability to analyze information and make deductions based on available data sets Ability to track and report data, as needed
  • Organization - Strong organization skills, attention to detail and follow-through to resolve any outstanding issues
  • Computer Proficiency - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
  • Energy - High positive energy to take on continuous and complex business challenges in a fast-paced environment
  • Persistence to drive to solutions despite obstacles and/or competing priorities
  • Flexibility - Adapts to change and different ways of doing things quickly and positively; does not shy away from addressing setbacks or ambiguity; deals effectively with a variety of people and situations; appropriately adapts one's thinking or approach as the situation changes

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

The Master Data Coordinator will work with Business and SAP Analysts to support data projects and assist in the development of data governance, data dictionaries, policies, processes and procedures that promote best practice and support the mission of the data and analytics team

  • Identify and gather master data in support of various system implementations
  • Support various IT related projects and project tasks as assigned
  • Assist in documentation of Global Data Governance process and procedures
  • Assist in the documentation of data dictionaries and end user training
  • Assist other teams in the review, collection, and correction of data artifacts
  • Coordinate with Business Analyst to ensure accuracy and completeness of both internal (example: from Sales, QA or Production) and external data requests (from customers)
  • Communicates with the user community any global changes to master data files
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of a classification and attribute/characteristic system
Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3+ years related business experience
