Finish Carpenter for Hotel Remodel

Looking for an experienced framer or finished carpenter for full time employment to help with the remodel of a 155 room hotel. Applicant must have finish carpentry experience and be able to work independently. Previous remodel experience or commercial/hotel framing experience preferred.

Job responsibilities include:

Able to read and work from blueprints, specifications, drawings, and instructions

Measure, mark, and cut lumber and other materials

Inspect completed work for conformance with specifications, requirements, and compliance with applicable building and safety codes and regulations

Rough framing of interior walls including plate and line, and sheathing as necessary

Install cabinetry, baseboards, trim work, and door frames

Hang doors and install door hardware

Ensure work progresses accurately and timely

Ensure materials and work area are kept clean and obstruction-free

Proficient in using tools such as saws, sanders, drills, planers, etc.

Preferred to have their own hand tools, tool belt, hammer, square, chalk line, cordless drills, etc.

Able to lift 40 to 60 lbs.

Able to climb up and down ladders, scaffolding and stairs

Must be reliable and punctual

Other duties as assigned

All plans and materials will be provided by hotel management. There are already finished model rooms to copy (replicate). Applicant will report to the hotel manager and maintenance manager. Possibility for additional work on maintenance staff or other hotel remodel after current remodel job is complete.
