- Coordinates, diagnoses and troubleshoots incoming employee calls.
- Provides support services to employees with technical problems and information technology issues involving desktop, laptop or network services from local personnel or from employees using network remote access.
- Provides timely resolution of problems or escalation on behalf of customer to appropriate technical personnel.
- Provides case status updates to management and end-users.
- Supports and maintains effective relationships with users.
- Develops, documents, and implements standard operating procedures and customer service guidelines relating to remote IT support.
- Support users in accordance to all corporate IT standards.
- Diagnose hardware and software faults and providing resolutions
- Installing and configuring hardware, operating systems and applications
- Supporting launch of new applications and technology rollouts.
- Document, prioritize, and manage multiple service requests and incidents within defined SLAs.
- Document and maintain accurate inventory of all IT assets in SCF, SJC, SMF and TUS.
- Manage the timely submission of purchase requisition and invoice for IT.
- Perform and document procedures in order to increase IT knowledge base.
- Share acquired knowledge among the other IT Americas team members
- Strong background in IT (required)
- Degree in IT or equivalent experience. (Cert in IT)
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to balance multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail and analytical approach to work product
- Ability to work effectively with others as well as independently; strong sense of ownership
