Deburr Associate

Argus Machine has a need for a self-motivated individual that has a keen eye and attention to detail in its precision machine deburr department.

Job Requirements:

- Ensure job counts are correct from manufacturing and properly identified

- Follow job traveler instructions, use prints and visual aids to validate information

- Use hand tools including knife, file, tweezers, deburr tools to remove sharp edges of manufactured parts

- Inspect manufactured parts to assure they are free of burrs

- Use sanding pads/paper to cosmetically improve required surfaces

- Use sandblaster as required to remove tooling marks

- Wash all parts to be free of oils and dust

- This job requires high attention to detail and accuracy.

- Sweep work area and keep clean

- Document legible and accurate deburr times on timecards & travelers

- Other duties as assigned

- References must be available and will be checked.
