job summary:

The Director of Systems Management will work with the team of data Specialists to assist the agency in planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating an agency-wide data strategy. The Director of Systems Management will also be responsible for supervising the team of analysts, determining, and implementing a vision for the team, and serving as the primary conduit for internal and external stakeholders. Meeting with and determining the data needs of internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, business, statistics, accounting, or similar field and three years of verified experience that includes database planning, development, and management; or five years of verified experience that includes database planning, development, and management.
  • Proof of COVID immunization.
  • Verifiable proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and other data management, analysis, or visualization systems.
  • At least one year of previous supervisory experience.
  • Must be able to meet training and agency requirements for the position.

responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements appropriate system procedures and controls.
  • Reviews and monitors transaction processing and output.
  • Ensures accurate and timely information is entered into the computer system.
  • Produces a variety of monthly and ad hoc reports and oversees their distribution to appropriate staff members in a timely manner.
  • Develops short- and long-term data management strategic plans.
  • Evaluates and selects systems for data management, analysis, and visualization, creating an agency-wide data framework. . .
  • Resolves issues in the electronic health records system within the defined timeframe.
  • Works with guarantors regarding claims submission, adjudication of claims, and Explanation of Benefits.
  • Trains staff members on issues related to the electronic health records system.
  • Stays current with trends, terminology, changes, and requirements involved in the delivery of behavioral health services, especially as they pertain to electronic records and the development and maintenance involved of an EHR system.
  • Creates cross-agency data tracking systems.
  • Extracts and aggregating data on regular and ad hoc bases.
  • Reports on significant findings to senior management, program managers, and front-line staff, as appropriate.
  • Continuous evaluating and, as appropriate, upgrading various data and visualization systems.
  • Serves as a primary liaison to software vendors and troubleshoots all software and vendor issues.
  • Determines the Systems Management team's priorities.
  • Works alongside leadership team to determine organizational analytics needs.
  • Designs, develops, modifies, and aggregates various agency data systems, which may include:
    • Avatar: The Behavioral Health Services electronic medical records system,
    • Power BI: the business analytics system.
    • Raiser's Edge: the donor records management system.
    • Sage50: the financial management system.
