The University of Arizona, Recruitment and Outreach team, is seeking a committed and experienced information technology leader who will quickly become a vital resource and trusted problem solver.As a Systems Administration Manager (Systems Administration Manager II) you will be responsible for providing strategic advice and guidance to Human Resources (HR) leadership related to technology solutions supporting the talent acquisition function and serve as the senior system administrator for the institution's Cornerstone OnDemand applicant tracking software. You will oversee applicant data management and delivery, lead technology deployments supporting the recruitment function, and supervise a team of two IT Business Analysts. Given this role’s unique and broad portfolio, we need a professional who enjoys a variety of work areas across the IT function. While you will not be required to create code or design a program, you will need to be able to communicate with programmers, developers, and software representatives. This role requires an individual with strong technical and business acumen, and the ability to facilitate communication amongst IT and HR professionals.The ideal candidate is analytical and strategic, motivated to learn new skills, values optimization and teamwork, and is a skilled problem solver. Above all, they are an exceptional listener who can translate business strategies into actionable objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Serves as system administrator for the applicant tracking system to include application deployment and testing, system configuration, system updates and change management. Oversees system documentation and technical guides.
  • Serves as data manager overseeing all campus and external requests including all affirmative action plan reporting, report libraries, and dashboards. Manages all data feeds, data feed testing, feed enhancements, updates and optimizations.
  • Serves as technical project manager for projects requiring software or data resources. This may include strategy, planning, organizing, managing, tracking, training, budgeting, reporting and/or analytics of information technology projects to ensure the delivery of successful outcomes.
  • Serves as supervisor and directs the work of two business analysts, provides support and feedback, conducts performance evaluations, promotes continuous learning and development, and models best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director and/or Manager of Recruitment and Outreach.
