We are a growing tax firm in Green Valley looking for an experienced seasonal tax preparer. We are a short drive from Tucson and willing to compensate the right person to join our team. Training begins immediately and work will continue through April 20th. We are looking for an EA or CPA, but will interview anyone with at least 2 practicing years preparing tax returns. Looking for someone who is self-motivated, dependable, knowledgeable, and excited to grow with our company.

Qualifications:

Experience filing 1040, 1065, 1120S, and 1041 is preferred.

Ability to work at least 40 hours during seasonal time frame.

Well-organized and versed in computer systems including:

Multiple tax software (Drake preferred), Word, Excel, Adobe Sign, and Google-based Scheduling.

Responsibilities:

Meet with clients and prepare taxes as directed

Educate clients on tax laws

Tax planning

Other duties as assigned

Salary:

Based on experience and credentials

Starting at $20 per hour
