Part-time AP Specialist

Description We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to assist our client on a contract basis, this role is available part-time. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching, addressing, and forwarding incoming invoices to the appropriate personnel for approval and coding. This position includes the responsibility for batch, code and post invoices by using accounting software systems.Key Responsibilities: Research, address, and forward incoming invoices to the respective personnel for approval and coding. Batch, code, and post invoices using accounting software systems. Maintain and update accurate customer credit records routinely. Communicate with 20-30 vendors as required to resolve any issues or inquiries. Conduct account coding and 3-way matching tasks as a daily duty. Process customer credit applications with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on account status. Perform other tasks as assigned by management.Requirements Qualifications: Proven experience as an accounts payable specialist. Detail-oriented with strong data entry skills. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to multi-task, prioritize work and meet deadlines.
