Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:To set up, adjust, maintain and efficiently operate manually and computer guided: Automated Welding Machines, Press Brakes, Cutting Machines, and Punch Press.MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
Trained to operate Automated Welding Machine
Trained to operate all machines in the facility and able to flex daily or as needed to different machines based on need of the business.
Forklift trained and capable of operating as material handler.
Positions production materials and tooling and maintains proper dimensions according to specifications.
Operates various equipment, including controllers, and programs according to production documentation.
Meets established performance standards to ensure production schedules are met.
Follows all applicable safety procedures and reports unsafe conditions or potential safety hazards to team leader or appropriate resource.
Ensures that products meet CADDY quality standards.
Inspects work to ensure proper dimensional requirements are met
Assists Maintenance and outside sources with trouble-shooting systems.
Takes action and notifies appropriate resource when problems arise concerning equipment, operations, materials, etc.
Participates actively as a team member through continuous improvement activities to meet customer needs.
Maintains a clean, safe and organized work area.
May be required to perform additional duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Knowledge of all operations of the assigned production process required
Knowledge of safety policies and procedures, and ability to promote compliance with them.
Fork truck licensed or ability to obtain one.
Ability to lift, slide and shake heavy gauges of material.
Ability to read and use measuring equipment (i.e. tape measure, caliper)
Ability to identify and support continuous improvement efforts with the Operations Supervisor.
Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business circumstance and have the ability to thrive in a constantly evolving business environment.
