RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client seeking a 100% remote Senior DevOps Engineer in Scottsdale, AZ.

Summary:The DevOps Engineer III works on a very collaborative agile team which provides the infrastructure, environments, deployment pipelines and other internal services that enable development teams to build, deploy and host their applications. This role will provide leadership towards moving our product development organization towards full self-service, allowing for the rapid deployment of secure and high-quality applications.

Primary Responsibilities:DevOps Engineer will provide expertise and guidance in the following areas: Cloud infrastructure Infrastructure as Code Automation Logging and Metrics Security best practices (credential management, identity management)

DevOps Engineer will define and support quality development practices Keeping up-to-date on industry trends Employ the value and principles of Agile development in a team environment DevOps Engineer will perform occasional off-hours maintenance and support Availability to respond to system failures at all hours

REQUIREMENTS: B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent work experience 5-9 years of software development experience 3 years' experience in managing cloud platforms Experience working in Agile Experience with application packaging, deployment and automation Experience with NoSQL technologies (Redis, Elasticsearch, MongoDB) Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes Strong software development background Strong Linux skills Strong understanding of network infrastructure Ability and desire to work in a highly collaborative environment
