As a Senior UX Technologist, you are part of a highly collaborative team responsible for helping craft a next-generation shopping experience. responsibilities:

Skills

  • At least 5 years' experience working in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Production experience with React framework and server-side rendering frameworks like Next.js
  • Design background with strong attention to detail implementing high-fidelity designs with animations and dynamic interactions in page
  • Focus on performance with knowledge of keeping file sizes and page load times low while maintaining elegant interactivity
  • Some working knowledge of CI/CD and cloud platforms such as AWS

Responsibilities:

  • Create landing pages and interactive experiences
  • Develop fully functional prototypes for usability and on-site testing
  • Create new components/modules for use on GoDaddy's merchandising experience platform
  • Maintain and update code to ensure most recent version of tools and platforms are in use
  • Manage and work on backlog of bugs and other QA items
  • Own your code from conception through to deployment across the full stack
  • Work as a member of broader teams including vendors as needed to achieve desired results

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of shipping experiences in production environments at scale
  • Expert level knowledge of web development and best practices
  • Expert level knowledge of front-end languages and frameworks (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, NodeJS, ReactJS, Bootstrap)
  • Practical experience with the latest web technologies (ReactJS, Webpack, Graph QL)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools/best practices
  • Comfortable with Git
  • Experience integrating with headless CMS systems
  • Passion for performance optimization and knowledge of latest performance metrics
