Counter Sales / Warehouse Employee (Prescott Valley)

Big D Floor Covering Supplies is one of the leading wholesale suppliers to the flooring installation trade, with locations throughout the Southwest. We are looking for a full-time Warehouse Associate at a distribution center located in Prescott Valley. The ideal candidate is consistent, energetic and willing to learn. We work in a fast-paced wholesale warehouse/retail environment serving flooring installation contractors.

This is a labor-intensive position where you will consistently lift items weighing up to 75 pounds or more. You may also use a pallet jack or forklift to manuever items within the warehouse. It's a physically demanding position; but it can be rewarding for the right person.

Job Requirements:

Must be able to handle and maneuver a variety of materialssingle items weighing up to 75 lbs.

Must be able to utilize a pallet jack or forklift to move heavy items. (Experience is appreciated, but not necessary. We're willing to train)

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (Ex: GED)

Must be able to read, write and communicate in English

Must have legal right or authorization to work in the United States

Additional qualities considered an advantage:

Bi-lingual in Spanish (this is a huge advantage)

Experience operating forklift and/or pallet jack

Attention to detail

Experience or knowledge of the flooring installation trade

Core Job Duties:

Verifying and pulling orders for customer pick-up or delivery

Assisting customers with loading vehicles

Receiving and stocking products delivered to our location

Perform daily maintenance check of forklifts

Other general warehouse duties

Overflow duties from the store

Any other tasks assigned by Manager or Supervisor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 per hour
