Full-Time, Work-From-Home Dispatcher

We are a local, family-owned service plumbing business located in Tempe, and servicing the entire Phoenix Metro area. We are looking for an experienced, full-time dispatcher to join our team. This is a permanent, long term position.

Overview

This job is the first point of contact with the customer. This applicant must be friendly, courteous, professional, and knowledgeable in dispatching and customer service. This is a work-from-home position. The applicant must have:

- A quiet home work area

- Reliable internet access

- Complete availability during normal business hours

Job Duties

- Monday - Wednesday, 8am - 830pm and Thursday 8am - 2pm

- Thursday afternoon, Friday - Sunday off

- Answer all calls in a friendly and sincere tone

- Take multiple calls and properly operate a business line

- Multi-task efficiently and effectively

- Take all information and form-fill into our dispatching program

- Schedule the calls in an orderly fashion based on tech location, experience, equipment, and urgency

- Relay 4 hour window ETA to the customer and stay in contact

- Require on site and off site from all techs in the field

- Regularly check the GPS to make sure all vans are moving to a job or on a job

- Ensure any van on site for at least 30 minutes must charge company minimum

- Schedule jobs based on tech schedule and home location as best as possible

- Make note and reschedule any call or quote that we must return to

- Schedule and coordinate key pick ups for vacant or PTE units

- Roll over all calls to the appropriate time, date, and technician

- Complete invoices and send to customer

- Forward all pictures from email to appropriate property manager

- Finish all jobs by the end of the day to avoid being backed up

- Take credit cards over the phone if necessary

Experience

- THIS IS A FAST PACED JOB.

- Customer service over the phone is REQUIRED.

- Specific service dispatching experience is REQUIRED

- Plumbing/HVAC experience PREFERRED.

- Property management/commercial experience a HUGE plus.

- MUST BE A TEAM PLAYER!

Pay and Benefits

- All remote - no travel expenses or travel time required

- $16-$19 DOE

- Occasional overtime, when necessary
