Bicycle Repair Tech- Shop Associate

Part-time position Fri, Sat &Sun 9-5 and some weekdays TBD. Adaptable to your schedule and seasonal requirements. Associate will support & assist store manager and tech manager with daily bike shop operations. Applicant must be at least 18, have valid AZ DL and reliable transportation. We need someone dependable who can demonstrate they know bicycles and bike tools, someone with an outgoing personality and exceptional customer service skills.

Duties will include:

> Assist with customer bike repairs, accessory sales & preventative maintenance of rental fleet.

> Broad responsibility of bike rental operations includes reservation management, cleaning, inspecting, >

readying bikes for rental check-out. Provide riding & safety instruction, review routes and bike paths options

> and insure the best bike experience possible to our rental guests.

> Duties will include daily shop housekeeping, maintaining a picked up, cleaned and organized environment.

> Greet, welcome, guide and assist customers to proper department staff.

> Occasional help with off-site pop-up demo events.

Requirements- MUST:

Prior Bike shop or bike mechanic experience and/or competence.

Be computer literate and willing to learn rental software. Quick Books POS and/or BRM experience a plus.

Must be able to lift #60 pounds.

Prior Rental and/or retail sales experience and social media savvy, also PLUSES the extra value you

bring to our FUN shop environment and our customer experience.
