Chiropractic clinic is hiring an experienced professional front office chiropractic assistant/scheduler.
We are looking for someone with the following qualities:
Excellent customer service skills
Experience with insurance providers (HMO, Medicare)
Proficient in EMRs, phone systems, Microsoft Office, general office hardware (scanning and faxing)
Extremely organized
Willing and excited to learn
Works well independently
Independent problem solver
Outgoing, friendly and great attitude is a MUST
Ability to educate patients about services and products professionally
Possess appropriate judgment
Knowledge of HIPAA
Experience in chiropractic, holistic health a plus!
Job Duties Include:
Answering all incoming calls and returning messages on the same day
Checking patients in and out
Collecting payments over the phone and in office
Verifying medical coverage for all types of insurance
Coordinate scheduling
Pulling charts, scanning documents, and maintaining a high level or organization of front office work flow
Scheduling follow-up appointments
Following up with patients to reschedule missed appointments daily
You will be the first person to speak with or see the patient and we want to make and leave an excellent impression. We are seeking a professional candidate with at least 1-2 years of experience in the tasks above.
