JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Technician I

LOCATION: Phoenix, AZ

DEPARTMENT: Manufacturing

REPORTS TO: Manufacturing Engineering Manager

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt, Hourly

COMPENSATION RANGE: $16.00-$19.00 per hour

Manufacturing Technicians are responsible for processing &packaging finished goods, operating machines, moving incoming and outgoing freight, processing daily orders, operating forklifts, ensuring that manufacturing is organized, clean and safe. Techs will also be responsible for facilities & planned maintenance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for making ContraPest® according to SOPs and Batch Record instructions and takes responsibility for manufacturing a quality product.

Performs set-up, dismantling, and maintenance of equipment and assures equipment is ready for production operations. Performs routine sanitization of areas.

Performs equipment maintenance such as periodic equipment cleaning, inspection, and filter changes, etc. Trouble shoots equipment as necessary during production operations.

Maintains inventory of spare parts and supplies and ensures the availability for production activities.

Complies with SOPs, Batch Records, and other GMP documentation.

Reviews work of self and others to ensure accuracy and compliance with good documentation practices.

Completes & reviews batch records ensuring the accuracy of the document prior to review by management

Participates in trending of processes and/or processing parameters and provide initial evaluation of the data – notifying Manufacturing Manager or Lead Technician of trends.

Conducts manufacturing activities to protect themselves, others, and company assets.

Participates in on-going training. Completes annual GMP & safety training.

Continues SOP training as it pertains to daily tasks & participates in on the job training.

Develops new skills and knowledge which are beneficial to self and SenesTech

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

2-year college or vocational tech education in an electro-mechanical discipline with 1-2 years industrial or equivalent maintenance experience.

Experience working in a diverse environment with strong inner-personal communication skills and working knowledge of safety regulations.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Must demonstrate knowledge of mechanical systems diagnostic procedures and basic knowledge of electrical troubleshooting.

Must be able to demonstrate strong basic math skills prefer: Algebra level skills.

Ability to work independently and make decisions based on training and logic.

Work is performed in a warehouse/plant environment; may be subject to varying temperatures.

Knowledge of software including MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Forklift certified preferred but not required.

Ability to effectively work in an organization where results are achieved by working cooperatively with a diverse group of professionals.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to work in safety-sensitive role. This is a safety sensitive position. All applicants should be willing to submit to both a drug screen and background check.

Most work is performed while standing and operating manufacturing equipment. Ability to lift 50 pounds required.

SALARY

$16.00-19.00/hour, DOE. SenesTech is a publicly-traded company and stock options may also be available as supplemental, performance-based compensation.
