Metal Finishing Operator & Shop Support

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

- must have reliable transportation and excellent attendance

- hardworking and dependable

- must pay attention to details - quality and precision-focused

- read, understand, and follow job order specification

- willingness to cross-train, as needed

- operating power tools

- operate metal finishing machine

- operate drill press

- ability to operate a forklift

- ability to stand 8 hours at a time

- ability to lift, lower and slide objects weighing up to 50 lbs

- must be able to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities

- communicate effectively with team members

- maintain a clean, organized work area

- demonstrate time management skills to meet daily deadlines

- problem solving, positive, forward-thinking personality

BASIC SKILLS REQUIRED:

- previous work experience in a manufacturing environment a plus

- able to read, write, speak and understand English

- basic math skills and able to read a tape measure

- comfortable and proficient with grinders and various other hand tools

- work effectively with limited direction as well as the ability to work in a team environment
