Quality Assurance Inspector
We are an ISO9001, AS9100 Certified, and ITAR Compliant manufacturer of precision components for the Aerospace, Defense, Medical and Semi-Conductor industries.
We are looking to fill the position of Quality Assurance Inspector for our first shift. The applicant should have strong mechanical plate inspection along with experience using hand inspection tools. Machine shop inspection and blueprint reading experience preferred. Strong work ethic and organizational skills to meet the demands of a fast-paced team-oriented work environment.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
Perform In-Process and Final inspections to ensure compliance with blueprint and specification requirements.
Review certifications for Material, and outside special processes.
Some CMM inspection a plus, willingness to learn CMM.
Identify non-conformances based on the customer requirements.
Qualifications / Education / Experience:
Must be familiar with GD&T, inspection tools.
Be able to read and interpret blueprints.
Effectively communicate, both verbally and written.
Applicant must be willing to cross-train in other areas and participate in continuous improvement activities.
Maintain records of rejected/accepted material in our databases for analysis of non-conformities.
Work closely and communicate effectively with Production to achieve product quality and production goals.
Perform daily in-process, first article AS9102, and final inspection of precision machined parts.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Quality Assurance Inspector: 3 years
Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing: 3 years
