Lead DevOps Engineer

A company in the self-storage industry is looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to add to their growing team. This individual will be overseeing the work of 2 other DevOps Engineer while also remaining hands on, and close to the tech. They should be skilled in maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrading of existing CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based infrastructure. They will also ideally have experience working with IAC technologies such as Terraform and Terragrunt. They should also be open to going on-site 3 days a week at their central Phoenix office. Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Systems Engineering
• 2+ years of experience leading a team focused on DevOps processes
• Strong experience with AWS cloud-based infrastructure (Azure a plus)
• Demonstrated competency with multiple AWS services such as EC2, ECS, IAM, Cloudfront, CloudWatch, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC, SQS, etc
• Experience using automation tools for deployment of software and infrastructure:
  • Terraform/Terragrunt
  • Jenkins
  • Git/GitHub work flows
  • Azure DevOps
• Strong grasp of multiple scripting languages such as Python, Powershell, JavaScript, TypeScript, etc.
• Exposure to various databases

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience
