Cable Technician

Description Cable Technician Robert Half is looking for an experienced cable tech for our Phoenix, Az based clients. Performs all electrical tasks under general supervision. Demonstrates safe work habits and proper care for tools and equipment. Layout and install wireway, buss duct, cable tray, switches receptacles and other devices. Pulls wire and/or oversees and directs conduit installations and wire pulling. Operates tools/equipment, normally requiring the use of two hands (examples: cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, jack hammers, etc.)Description:Working as a member of a project team, the Technician I is primarily responsible for enhancing over-all job site productivity and ensuring high-quality workThe Technician will work with multiple aspects of the cable installation process including OSP, ISP, rack, stack, patch, pathway construction, rough-in, routing, Telecommunication Room build-out, cable terminations, labeling, and groundingThe Technician's goal is to complete tasks with a high degree of quality and efficiency, while practicing professionalism for optimal job performancePromotes company Core Values to foster and safeguard family-centric cultureInstallation of structured cabling systems including all aspects of the installation process: OSP, ISP, Rack, Stack, Patch, Fusion Splicing, TestingReads and interprets all floor plans, drawings, specifications, and cut sheetsProperly sets up a variety of copper and fiber testersRequirements Assist in developing Installers to complete all the tasks and responsibilities of a technicianProactively oversee and lead job site organization and basic housekeeping maintenanceMaintain a professional appearance and demeanorMaintain satisfactory compliance with customer security requirementsExcel in technical tasks such as testing and troubleshootingTechnology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
