Director of Software Engineering

A major financial services and credit card provider in North Phoenix is looking to hire a Director of Software Engineering to oversee an expanding division. This team is responsible for the greenfield development of their new product offerings, further expanding their clientele and enhancing their customers' experience. Partnering with the Product and Business teams, you will have the opportunity to provide technical roadmaps to enable quick product releases. The ideal candidate comes from a Java development background and has previous experience managing a team of engineers. Having experience in the financial domain, or high transaction environments, is a plus. Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of professional, software development experience
• Previous experience managing a development team
• Java 8+
• End-to-end development knowledge and/or experience
• Great communication skills and problem-solving abilities

• Bachelor's Degree in computer Science, or related field
• Financial services industry experience
• High-transaction environment
• Architecture and design
