RESPONSIBILITIES:A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Senior Hardware Validation Test Engineer in Phoenix, Arizona (AZ). We are working directly with the Hiring Manager on this exclusive search assignment.

Summary:The Senior Hardware Validation Test Engineer will work with internal and external customers to layout, validate, troubleshoot their electro-mechanical, and electronic products that are installed. Additionally, they are responsible for verification and validation testing of connected products. The Senior Hardware Validation Test Engineer works independently to confirm that a product or system meets a set of design specifications and will work in close collaboration and cooperation with mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software engineers to develop solutions with an emphasis on simplicity and time-to-market.

Responsibilities include: Will create verification, validation plans and tests at the system level, installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment Execute verification and validation plans Identify, document, and replicate product defects Work with Engineers to fix defects Participate in defect and feature prioritization Test Hardware Validation Engineer will be installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment Understand and support encryption, authentication, security certificates, etc. Work with engineers regarding wireless connectivity Communicate with customers to resolve system related issues (on site and/or over the phone) Assist Technical Support on escalated issues Provide field, sales, and marketing support Rollout software and firmware releases Hardware Validation Engineer will be complying with the Quality Policy and procedures and meeting QMS objectives

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a closely related technical field is preferred Five years of experience in verification and validation of products that are connected to the internet Experience testing and verifying system with network functionality such as: Ethernet, security, Wi-Fi, USB, Bluetooth, etc. Ability to troubleshoot and advise on wired and wireless networking challenges Understanding of Enterprise security and modern cyber security issues Understand the implications of not conforming to QMS requirements Must have logical and analytic troubleshooting skills Experience working in an ISO 9001:2015 environment a plus Experience in the validation and or testing of networks and IOT devices is a plus
