Bookkeeper

Description Robert Half is actively looking for a Bookkeeper. This Bookkeeper role requires candidates to be proficient with A/P, A/R, General ledger, and financial reporting. The long-term contract / temporary to hire Bookkeeper will work in the Phoenix, Arizona area.Key responsibilitiesMaintain quality historical records by filing documents

Balance accounts by reconciling entries

Outline Accounts Receivable invoices, reviewing payments received, and record deposits

Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

Manage a well-organized system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures

Oversee and manage general ledger

Support accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions Requirements - Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred

Quickbooks Online experience

Earlier experience working with various types of accounting software desired

BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
