About The JobAs we expand our account management team, the need for administrative, operational, and technical support will also grow. When working with our HiPo customers, attention to detail is of the utmost importance to ensure that they consistently have a high touch experience with Google. A Partner Operations Support Agent will layer an operational mindset on top of the technical background skillset they possess to assist partner customers with implementation, optimization and administrative tasks. While our PSMs will focus on the majority of the selling and partner relationships, these agents will assist them by doing research and follow up, initiating the deal with internal Google resources, moving contracts through the legal review process, processing deals and following up on outstanding issues either on the customer or internal side, scheduling and participating in trainings, identifying potential opportunities for upsell or growth within GMP, and generally building trust and relationships with our customers. The agents will be responsible for monitoring partner pipeline from a SFDC hygiene, deal movement, and assisting with marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities
  • Assist PSM team with account plan development
  • Ensure good SFDC data hygiene, movement of pipeline, and provide Regular SFDC updates in team meetings on a weekly cadence
  • Partner with legal to mitigate roadblocks and ensure that contracts progress forward through the review process
  • Track customer activity in an organized and timely manner to ensure no balls are dropped for systematic, multi-touch account management approach
  • Act as a liaison and facilitate internal Google teams to support the customer in any technical or administrative needs including but not limited to project ownership, legal term changes, and billing issues/changes
  • Identify potential for upsell or growth by thoroughly understanding new and existing opportunities and new campaigns. While also understanding potential needs of different Google products that could better assist customers and route appropriately
  • Ability to work as a technical resource for customers to navigate through the GMP Console and understand how they are currently and wish to use the product in order to best fit business needs
  • Build trust with customers through closing process by professionally representing Google
  • Train new partner resources on how to navigate GMP and Partner Advantage tools
  • Field escalations from partners and PSMs
  • Provide feedback from partners and customers back to Google on either process, product, or training changes
  • Assisting PSMs in any event/event planning for partners in communication and driving attendance

QualificationsMinimum qualifications:
  • Account management mindset in order to manage PSMs book of business
  • Able to balance high volumes of accounts from a SFDC hygiene and account management perspective
  • Salesforce and Google Sheets experience
  • Organized and efficient, with an eye for improving business processes
  • Self-motivated and self-starter, will eagerly reach out to many customers daily along with discipline to reach back out.
  • Can operate in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
Preferred qualifications:
  • Proficient knowledge of Google Maps, value prop and APIs
  • Proficient knowledge of technical architecture to guide customer conversations
  • Tenured experience with Google systems (SFDC, PST, Vanilla, Simba)
  • Sales background
