Title: Systems Administrator - Senior (6-10 yrs) OR Technical Project ManagerLocation: Phoenix, Dallas or AustinDuration: 12 Months

Description:
  • Responsible for maintaining the computer systems, server management including installing, maintaining and upgrading the servers.
  • Will ensure the servers are backed up, and that the server data is secure from unauthorized access.
  • May also produce and create reports, charts, manuals proposals and perform light programming (scripting).
  • Must be able to plan, coordinate and implement software version changes and use utility tools to monitor elements of the system, such as memory, central processing unit (CPU) and program errors generated from a system or software problem.
  • Must also have knowledge in systems design and configuration.
  • C DR Test Planning team Partner and collaborate with Client Technology Application development community and Infrastructure systems teams to facilitate IT Disaster Recovery (DR) Attestation.
  • Work directly within the Operational Continuity DR Test Planning team (TPT) to manage all the daily responsibilities; required to Schedule, Plan, Execute IT Disaster Recovery Exercises.
  • Serve as Agile development team member to facilitate pre & post-exercise activities.
  • Work within the OC DR TPT SOPs to deliver DR product and services, ensuring highest quality deliverables.
  • This is inclusive of DR pre-Exercise requirements gathering and post Exercise metadata updating.
  • Perform analytic activities related to Resilience Governance adherence.
  • The role involves working with Applications to support Exercise Deferrals and process out of compliance conditions.
  • Deliver ongoing feedback regarding risk management, mitigation, and prevention.
  • Actively participate in working sessions to address DR exercise failure and issue remediation.
  • Continually improve internal DR process utilizing ever-changing requirements and technologies available; demonstrate excellent judgment with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • You must make good decisions, can identify issues, provide possible solutions and know when to escalate matters.
  • Self-starter; takes initiative and can work independently.

Required Skills:
  • 7+ years of demonstrated experience dedicated to IT infrastructure systems.
  • 5+ years of disaster recovery operations and management.
  • 7+ years of systems engineering experience and or Technical Project Management.
  • 3+ years of delivering results using an Agile Framework (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and Atlassian (Jira/Confluence).
  • Must be comfortable Act as liaison for OC TPT and examination of disaster recovery processes.
  • Experience managing large projects using well developed sound project management skills.
  • Experience working in cross-functional IT teams.
  • Must have an in-depth understanding of current recovery solutions, high availability architectures, and mainframe architectures as is knowledge of crisis communication solutions.
  • DCO / ITO operations background is recommended.
  • Strong time management and organization skills.
  • Successfully developed and implemented business continuity program life cycle plans and source deliverables (e.g. risk assessments, bias, continuity planning) is essential.
  • Experience establishing, managing and communicating with Business Partners to cultivate strong partnerships.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills is required.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of current disaster recovery planning techniques and technologies as well as the methods used in performing risk and business impact analysis.
  • Understanding of elementary IT network principles is critical.
  • Requires excellent oral and written communication skills to convey plans, exercises, and activities.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and lead the testing of emergency response, recovery support, and business resumption procedures.
  • Remedy, Troux, xMatters, MIR3 working experience is beneficial.
  • MS Office Suite, MS Project, Visio.
  • SharePoint Experience a plus.
  • Continuity Planning accreditation and Fusion ITDR SaaS is a plus.
