Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Engineer who is proficient in SolidWorks to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and refining detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and design specifications to support the development of innovative products and solutions. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, creativity, and effective communication skills.
Duties
-Develop detailed 3D CAD models and assemblies using SolidWorks.
-Create accurate and comprehensive technical drawings and documentation for manufacturing and assembly processes.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure
design feasibility and functionality.
-Perform design modifications and updates based on feedback, testing, and prototyping results.
-Conduct tolerance analysis and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards.
-Manage CAD data and maintain organized file structures in line with company protocols.
Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
-5 years minimum as a CAD Engineer in a relative field
-Proven experience as a CAD Engineer, with a strong focus on SolidWorks.
-Proficiency in SolidWorks part modeling, surfacing, and assemblies.
-Familiarity with GD&T.
-Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, primarily CNC machining.
-Ability to interpret and create technical documentation, including engineering drawings and specifications.
-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
-Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
-Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
