Traveling camping assistant in California. Candidate will be traveling and camping ongoing with the Client, who is a 30 year old male recovering from chronic health conditions (Sick from living in a moldy building). Camping/Fresh air helps the clients condition. Client also takes Covid precautions. Assistant will help maintaining camp site, moving camp sites, washing clothes, cooking meals, and basic physical therapy exercise assistance. Currently, client is living on a 150 acre farm near the ocean with access to electricity. Client moves locations every couple of months.

Responsibilities

- Maintaining campsite (cleaning, organizing, protecting from weather, etc)

- Moving campsites (packing up the SUV and unpacking/setting up camp)

- Hand washing clothes (about 7 hours per week)

- Cooking 2 meals per day using a camp stove

- Occasional help with basic physical therapy exercises for client

This position involves tent camping in various campsites across CA (possibly other states but unlikely). It is an ongoing position. The camping can include hard weather conditions (cold, rainy, windy, hot). The potential candidate must be hardy and comfortable with being uncomfortable. Candidate must be ok with a lot of alone time, as client spends a large portion of the day working on his laptop. Client is fun and open to creating a friendship (watching movies, playing video games, making fires, exploring). Dogs are welcome and encouraged. Cats not allowed.

Traveling is done out of clients SUV. Candidate must travel with client, and may not bring a car. Candidate must be ok living with few possessions.

Compensation: Up to $2,500/month

Deal breakers:

- Negative energy or attitude

- Laziness

- Tendency to get annoyed or frustrated

- Bad memory (unless candidate is ok with writing things down and staying organized)

- Needs to be micromanaged (tasks should be given and candidate should be able to take responsibility for executing from that point forward)
