Job Summary:The purpose of this position is to support Apple specific hardware and software. The person will be responsible on a regular basis for Tier II Support for all Apple products owned by MCC. The individual will also work in our Apple Management system Jamf Pro heavily to deploy, repair and reprovision devices. The position will also perform hardware repairs on Apple equipment through Apples Global Service Exchange.Essential Functions:30% Assist Faculty, Staff, and students having issues with Apple Mac OS or IOS30% Manage Mac OS Systems in Jamf Pro20% Repair Apple Hardware using Apple Global Service Exchange10% Repair Apple Hardware and Software10% Collaborate with other parts of the CTS department to work on technology-related projects; other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED and three full time equivalent years of experience with desktop user support or technical support for equipment, networks, systems, telecommunications, or technology security, appropriate to assignment. There is no substitution or equivalency allowable for the High School Diploma or GED.Desired Qualifications:A. Associates Degree and 4 or more years of experienceB. Experience working in an educational environmentC. Experience with Jamf ProD. Experience with Package & Script DevelopmentE. Two Plus years of Information technology ExperienceF. History of Managing Multiple ProjectsG.
