This is a Full time benefit eligible position (Medical, Dental, Vision, Vacation).

Division Objective

To ensure safety, security, maintenance, proper utilization, appearance, and cleanliness of Mountain Line’s rolling stock, including revenue vehicles, service vehicles, and equipment.

To comply with regulations on occupational safety as mandated by Federal, State, and Local agencies (OSHA, FTA, ADA, DHHS). To ensure compliance with local policies and manufacturer requirements for maintenance of vehicles.

Job Purpose of a Bus Detailer Fueler

Clean, fuel and stage buses in a professional and safe manner for same day/next day operations.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Check exteriors of the vehicles for dings, scratches, and other minor damages and reports potential problems to supervisor

Keeps cleaning logs current

Utilizing the bus wash, washes Mountain Line vehicles. Ensures vehicles are cleaned inside and out using a prescribed tracking methodology

Washes interior to include dusting, sweeping, floors, seats, walls, ceiling, and other areas

Performs general cleanup of assigned areas, as directed

Cleans snow from Mountain Line facilities, may use a snow blower or other equipment to remove snow

Fuels Mountain Line vehicles as assigned.

Parks Mountain Line buses in parking garage, staging buses appropriately for next day service

Supports a positive work environment

Maintains a dependable attendance record

Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned

Safety Statement

This is a safety-sensitive position subject to the rules and regulations of the Drug and Alcohol Policy and required testing policy per FTA, ADOT, and Motor Vehicle Department. The incumbent is subject to pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Testing, Random Testing, and Reasonable Suspicion Testing. The incumbent is required to fully comply with all operational safety rules and regulations established by Mountain Line.
