Nanny

Part time (7:30-3) T-F 30hrs/wk

Salary: 1,300/month

No Holidays/weekends/evening required

2 kids (both under two - daughter will be just under 2, son will be 3 months)

Requirements

- 18+ years old

- Valid drivers license

- Car that can hold two car seats

- First Aid Certified (if not we will pay for you to take this class)

- Multitasking skills

- Ability to come up with creative ideas to educate and engage the kids

- A pleasant and patient personality

- Non smoking

Duties

- Preparing and serving children’s meals (including bottle feeding)

- Get kids dressed and ready for the day

- Plan outdoor activities when weather is acceptable (walks, going to the park, etc)

- Play with kids at home (reading books, puzzles, drawing, play on the deck, tummy time for the baby - no tv during the day)

- Put both children down for naps

- Changing diapers (helping toddler with using the toilet)

- Giving baths

- Keep play area and kids room tidy (empty diaper genie if needed)

As our Nanny, you will take care of our two kids, keep them safe, happy and clean, plan meals for them and organize creative and educational activities based on their age (daughter is almost 2, son is 3 months).

If you love working – and playing – with children and, also feel comfortable handling the less appealing tasks, such as changing diapers and tidying up children’s rooms, we’d love to meet you.

Ultimately, we are looking for someone we can trust to keep our kids happy and safe when we are not around.

Melanie is a teacher so you won’t ever be asked to work Holidays, weekends, or evenings. Tyler is a chef at the New York so you will always have Mondays off as well, this is four days a week during the school year and starts the end of October when Melanie finishes her maternity leave.

We would like you to start the week before her leave finishes that way you can get to know our family and our routines (you will be paid as if it is a full month)
