Dental Hygienist

Looking for a dental hygienist to join our team. Our schedule is Tuesday through Friday from 7:30am until 5:00pm. We offer competitive wages, and our full-time employees receive healthcare/dental benefits, 401k, PTO/sick pay.

We have a team-oriented staff that enjoys working together. Applicants must have excellent communication skills and be willing to work both chairside and front office when needed.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Capturing digital x-rays

Review patient's health history during initial consultation

Remove calculus and plaque from all surfaces of the teeth

Apply preventive materials to the teeth (e.g., sealants and fluorides)

Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health;

(e.g., tooth brushing, flossing and nutritional counseling)

Counsel patients about good nutrition and its impact on oral health

Ensure all patients’ questions are answered thoroughly before they leave

Chart during exam of all patients and record in areas of chart as shown by dentist

Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment
